Clallam County's Syringe Services Program (SSP) is a prevention and risk reduction program designed to provide access to sterile syringes and safer use equipment, safe disposal of used syringes, treatment navigation and support, and access to other important services to support the health and safety of our communities such as: - Our SSP is a confidential, judgment-free service. - No appointment is necessary. -Walk-ins are encouraged. - Syringe disposal and medical-grade Sharps containers are available. - Referral to substance use treatment programs. Screening, care, and linkage to treatment for viral hepatitis and HIV. - Education about overdose prevention, safer use, and safer injection practices. - Vaccinations, including those for hepatitis A and hepatitis B. - Abscess and wound care. - Naloxone distribution - Fentanyl test strips - Pregnancy tests, and Emergency Contraception. - Nicotine replacement therapy - Safer Smoking Supplies Referral to social, mental health, and other medical services.
