Overview
Syringe Service-is a needle exchange service that allows injecting drug users (IDUs) to obtain clean hypodermic syringes and other prevention services at no cost. The Syringe Service is a partnership between GBAPP,Inc and Recovery Network Programs. This program is funded by the Department of Public Health. Narcan is a prescription medicine that reverses an opioid overdose. It cannot be used to get high and is not addictive. Narcan is distributed through this Syringe Service.
