Overview

Health Brigade provides quality health services, especially to those least served, in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. NON-COST SERVICES AVAILABLE - Free needles, cookers, filters, ties, etc. - Wound care supplies - Safer sex supplies - Naloxone (Narcan®) to reverse overdoses - Safer snorting materials - Syringes for injecting - hormones or steroids - Testing for hepatitis C, and HIV, and other STD/STI’s - Referrals to medical care, mental health and wellness, substance use treatment, PrEP, - PEP, medication assisted treatment and other community resources * NOTE: Our program is need-based, not 1-for-1, meaning our participants do NOT have to return used syringes in order to receive new ones.

Mondays: 5pm to 8pm

West End. 1010 North Thompson St. Richmond, VA

Tuesdays: 12pm to 3pm

East End. Mobile-site. 1813 “T” Street at Rogers (Luck’s Field) parked near the basketball court

Wednesdays: 12pm to 3pm

Northside. Mobile-site. Parked on Newbury Ave & Meadowbridge Rd. (Near Simpson’s Market)

Thursdays: 12pm to 3pm

Southside. Mobile-site. Corner of Dinwiddie and Jefferson Davis

During COVID we do not offer direct HIV and HCV at these sites. Please contact our main office to make an appointment for testing.
