Overview
North Idaho Alliance of Care (NIAC) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to delivering community-based services to marginalized, low-income, and people who are living in metro/rural areas. NIAC provides preventative, STI testing, medical case management, linkage to care, stable housing assistance, supportive, educational, and spiritual services to qualifying individuals and their families living with HIV, another transmittable disease and/or who are at risk of transmittable disease or another preventable disease.
NIAC believes in a world whereby social determinants of health should not prevent access to safe and reliable care delivered without prejudice. All services are delivered without regard to age, race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, or religious preference. The emphasis of service is on equity, reducing barriers to health care, education, compassionate service delivery, and client dignity.
Our Mission: Providing care, prevention, and advocacy for people living with and affected by HIV in North Idaho.
What We Do: We exist to raise awareness about HIV and Hepatitis-C, erase stigma and discrimination, and remove barriers to HIV-Hep-C screenings, education, linkage to care, harm reduction, and condom distribution.
