Overview
Queer Point is CalPride’s LGBTQ+ ran syringe services program (SSP), designed to provide nonjudgmental, trauma-informed harm reduction support to people who use drugs, with a focus on serving queer, trans, unhoused, and BIPOC community members across Stanislaus County.
Located at 1202 H Street, Suite C in Modesto, Queer Point operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. We offer a wide range of safer use supplies tailored to meet the diverse needs of our participants, including kits for injection, smoking, snorting, and boofing. In alignment with harm reduction best practices, our program also provides access to safe disposal options, overdose prevention education, and free naloxone distribution.
Queer Point is more than a syringe service program—it’s a welcoming, affirming space where people can access vital health resources without fear of stigma or discrimination. We work to build trust, reduce harm, and foster community through culturally responsive outreach, peer support, and referrals to wraparound services such as HIV/HCV testing, Plan B distribution, gender-affirming care navigation, and housing/survival resources.
To stay informed about mobile services, pop-up outreach events, or program updates, participants can follow us on Instagram at @queerpointstanislaus, where we post real-time information and harm reduction education.
At Queer Point, we believe that harm reduction is a form of love, and we’re here to meet people where they are—always with compassion, dignity, and care.
